Each term we stage at least one major production. This year we staged Measure For Measure. Last year was A Matter of Life and Death and One Man Two Guvnors. The students take all possible roles from acting, directing, designing, lighting, sound and all the backstage technical crew.

We also encourage students to write and direct their own shows giving them full technical and financial support. Recent student productions have included Stage Fright, Endings, Playhouse Creatures, and Joseph K.

Each summer, graduating students form a troupe under the name Babolin Theatre. They intensively devise and rehearse a show which is taken to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for a week in August. Reviews have been outstanding.

We are also founding partners in the Fusion Theatre Festival, a day-long event hosted here and at the Cambridge Junction, celebrating the best of local schools and colleges theatre combined with workshops and professional performances.
